Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson shoots in for a takedown but Lardo shows good takedown defense.
Lardo with a nice cross.
Lardo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lardo wants it to stay on the feet.
Watson goes for a double leg but Lardo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lardo continues to drive forward.
Lardo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Watson has a takedown stuffed.
Watson shoots in for a takedown but Lardo shows good takedown defense.
Watson shoots in and drives through. Lardo sprawls well.

Lardo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Lardo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lardo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Watson eats them both and turns towards Lardo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like John Watson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lardo lands with an overhand left.
Lardo feints a jab promting Watson to slip. Lardo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Watson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Watson is rocked!
Lardo batters Watson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Watson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Lardo lands a final crushing right hand to drop Watson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Lardo is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bob Lardo!
John Watson was interviewed post fight and said 'NO COMMENTS...'.
