Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AL Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Roe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AL Bundy!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Roe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Roe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Roe.

Bundy takes the fight into the clinch.
Bundy lands a body punch.
Bundy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Roe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bundy tries to score a body lock takedown but Roe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Justin Roe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AL Bundy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roe tries to circle away but Bundy has him pinned against the cage.
Bundy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roe backwards.
Bundy tries to pull guard but Roe holds him up against the cage and eventually Bundy drops back down to his feet.

Roe is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bundy is keeping busy.
Roe is looking to control Bundy's arms but Bundy gets an underhook and turns him. Now Roe has his back to the cage.
Maybe Roe would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.

Bundy is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Roe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Roe prevents the takedown attempt.

Bundy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Roe tries to keep at a distance but Bundy has taken the fight into the clinch.

Roe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bundy smiles and moves away.
Bundy lands with a kick to the ribs.
Roe tries for a takedown but Bundy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bundy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Roe seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bundy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Roe changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Bundy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roe pinned against the cage. Roe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bundy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roe.

Roe scores with a takedown into Bundy's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bundy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bundy keeping moving, preventing Roe from controlling successfully.
Roe wants to stand but Bundy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bundy is adopting a defensive guard.
Bundy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Roe looking to sit in guard and control but Bundy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Bundy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Roe, up you get!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Roe tries for a takedown but Bundy circles away easily

and Bundy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

AL Bundy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Bundy counters with a head kick. That will keep Roe thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Bundy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Roe pulls his leg out and moves away.

As Bundy tries to get set, Roe tries to push him back and clinch up but Bundy manages to avoid the attempt.

Bundy shoots in for a takedown but Roe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Roe tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bundy manages to circle out of the way.
Roe throws a combination. Bundy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Roe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bundy misses with a takedown attempt - Roe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roe.
Roe moves in looking to clinch but Bundy pushes him off.

Roe is looking to stand back up but Bundy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Roe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bundy decides to return to a standing position.
Bundy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roe's waist but Roe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bundy off to one side.

Bundy has Roe up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Roe jumps guard and drags Bundy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

AL Bundy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Roe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Bundy lands a head kick. Roe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

The fight stays on the outside here - Roe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Bundy counters with a straight right hand.

Bundy moves into the clinch successfully.
Bundy lands a good knee to the midsection. Roe won't want to take too many of those.
Bundy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Roe gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Roe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bundy prevents it.

Bundy pulls guard effortlessly.

Bundy scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bundy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roe pinned against the cage. Roe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck for Roe with that takedown attempt.
Roe shoots in for a takedown but Bundy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bundy closes the distance and clinches up with Roe, looking for a takedown. Bundy pushes Roe against the cage but Roe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bundy throws a quick inside leg kick.

Roe fails to land the takedown.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roe.
Bundy throws a combination. Roe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bundy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A head kick misses from Bundy.

Roe fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bundy to the ground. Roe is now in Bundy's guard.

Bundy pushes Roe off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Justin Roe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
AL Bundy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

AL Bundy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bundy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
