Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoel Eleazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neville Champman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoel Eleazar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Neville Champman! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Champman drives through and clinches with Eleazar against the cage.
Eleazar fails to pull guard.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Champman. Eleazar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Champman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Champman landing knees to the body.
Eleazar wants to break the clinch but can't.
Eleazar goes for a takedown attempt but Champman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Champman is trying to trip Eleazar. He has hold of a leg but Eleazar is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Champman persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Eleazar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Champman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Eleazar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Champman, as that shot connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eleazar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Eleazar is breathing heavily. Champman looks like he's trying to stand up.
Champman pushes Eleazar off and gets back to his feet. Eleazar shoots in and drives through. Champman sprawls well. Champman shoots in and bounces Eleazar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Eleazar looking for a sweep. Not yet Eleazar, not yet. Champman wants to control from the top but Eleazar keeps moving. Eleazar is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Champman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eleazar is keen to just control but Champman is a slippery customer. Champman has one foot on Eleazar's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Eleazar checks the leg kick nicely there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eleazar has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Champman! Eleazar wants to control the pace but Champman is squirming around nicely. Eleazar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Eleazar looking to control but Champman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eleazar is going olschool here, as he tries to force Champman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Champman shrugs it off. Eleazar goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Champman is on top in guard.
Champman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Eleazar pulls Champman in close to prevent any damage.

Eleazar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Champman swivels and escapes. Champman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eleazar misses with a takedown attempt and Champman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Champman. Champman scores with a nice hook to the head. Eleazar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Champman walks away with a smile on his face. Eleazar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Champman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Eleazar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Champman stops Eleazar from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Eleazar is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Champman is in real trouble.

Neville Champman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

And that's the end of the fight! Neville Champman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Champman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
