Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cato McGraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JayJay Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin has chosen "Your Not Alone" - Tinchy Stryder as his entrance music. JayJay Marvin acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Cato McGraw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, JayJay Marvin! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marvin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McGraw throws a right hand that Marvin ducks under and follows up with a left that Marvin also avoids with ease. McGraw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marvin throws out the jab. McGraw stuffs the takedown attempt from Marvin. Marvin gets slowly back to his feet. McGraw has a takedown stuffed. Marvin gets caught flat footed, as McGraw shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. McGraw trying to control but Marvin is working from the bottom. Marvin is trying to keep McGraw in close.
Marvin wants to sweep here but McGraw controlling him for the moment. McGraw drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGraw jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Marvin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marvin looking to control.
Marvin looks gassed! McGraw trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Marvin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Marvin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. McGraw feints and as Marvin raises his hands in defense, McGraw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. McGraw is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Marvin looking to hit a scissor sweep but McGraw is one step ahead there. McGraw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marvin swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGraw postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGraw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McGraw working some strikes from top position. McGraw is stalling in the full guard. McGraw pushes down on Marvin's leg and manages to get into half guard. McGraw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marvin keeps working. Marvin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Marvin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McGraw is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Marvin has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGraw lands strikes from half guard. McGraw is taking a breather. Marvin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Marvin is looking for a sweep. McGraw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McGraw in particular looking to stall. Marvin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McGraw is working away from the top position though. McGraw content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. McGraw trying to control from half guard but Marvin is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Marvin throws a strike from the bottom but McGraw passes into side control!
Marvin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGraw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McGraw is looking to take a break and control but Marvin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McGraw is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marvin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McGraw working the body and head with strikes. McGraw tries for a kimura but Marvin is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cato McGraw dominated that round. That's time! McGraw's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McGraw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McGraw has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Marvin doesn't defend quickly enough and McGraw has managed to lock this one up! Can Marvin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McGraw on a fantastic submission victory.
