Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Minor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anna Velvet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anna Velvet!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Velvet.
Velvet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Minor swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Minor walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Velvet checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Minor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Velvet tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Minor was well out of range. Poor timing from Velvet.

Velvet throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Velvet shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Minor can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Velvet controls the pace.

Minor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Velvet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Velvet moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Velvet takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Minor is trying to pull guard but Velvet turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Velvet. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Velvet cracks Minor with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Minor looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Velvet finish him?

Anna Velvet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A relieved looking Anna Velvet thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
