Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Icon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Dufresne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Icon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dufresne is holding on to half guard well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Icon wants to control but Dufresne is keeping him busy.

Icon is looking for a kimura but Dufresne is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Icon to get the leverage.
Icon works his foot free and advances to mount.

Icon looking for a guillotine from mount but Dufresne is having none of it.
Dufresne holds on for dear life, controlling Icon's posture momentarily.

Dufresne tries to lock up and control but Icon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dufresne is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Icon is staying active.
