The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie just misses with a punch to the body.
Zombie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dong Hyuk was well out of range. Poor timing from Zombie.
Zombie connects with an inside leg kick.
Zombie throws a leg kick but Dong Hyuk checks it.
Zombie throws a lazy right hand but Dong Hyuk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dong Hyuk feints and then cracks Zombie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zombie down.

Dong Hyuk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zombie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shin Dong Hyuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zombie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

We've been hearing reports that Dong Hyuk has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Zombie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Zombie throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Dong Hyuk! Zombie is out on his feet! Dong Hyuk rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Zombie is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Zombie is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Shin Dong Hyuk was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
