Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mario Jose Binay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mario Jose Binay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Binay uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ash. Binay swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ash counters by moving into the clinch. Binay lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Binay unloads a knee to the mid-section. Binay prevents the takedown attempt.

Binay tries to throw a body punch but Ash avoids it by throwing Binay back against the cage. Binay tries to work over Ash's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Binay misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Binay displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ash. Mario Jose Binay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Ash. Binay shakes it off. A looping hook to the body misses from Binay. Ash does a little dance to reset his feet. Binay looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Binay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ash looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Binay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ash not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ash seems to be looking for submissions.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ash is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Binay holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Binay is trying to stand up here but Ash is controlling him well. Ash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Binay's head. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ash misses with a head shot. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Binay can't do much from the bottom here. Binay defending against the ground and pound. Ash working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Ash creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Ash is looking to take a break and control but Binay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mario Jose Binay will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Binay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
