Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Barclay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barclay has chosen I Am The Walrus as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Trey Brown could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Andy Barclay's chin.

With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Barclay!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barclay misses with a hook
and Brown counters with a stiff right hand.
Brown steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barclay.
Brown is looking to counter with a body kick.
Brown lands a lovely overhand right.
Brown slips a straight right by Barclay.
Barclay scoring well with a low kick there.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brown, right into the meat.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barclay is looking to land body kicks.
Barclay feints a jab promting Brown to slip. Barclay then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brown slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Brown tests Barclay's chin there with a solid looking shot.

We've been hearing reports that Brown has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barclay is rocked!
Brown sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Barclay connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brown throws a body punch but Barclay moves out of range.
Barclay lands with an overhand left.
Brown takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Andy Barclay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barclay moves out of range of the body kick from Brown.
Brown takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Brown throws a front kick aimed at Barclay's knee but Barclay avoids it well.
Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barclay was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.
Brown rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Barclay makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Brown moves forwards but Barclay connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Barclay looks to clinch
and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barclay throws a push kick but Brown slaps the foot to one side.
Barclay is looking to score with low kicks.
Barclay moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Brown scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Barclay throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barclay throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Barclay lets loose with a powerful body kick. Brown will feel that in the morning.

Barclay throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brown.
Brown missing with a left hand there. Barclay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Brown looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Barclay.
Brown throws a head kick but Barclay moves out of range.

Brown lands a hook that snaps the head of Barclay backwards.
Barclay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brown creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Brown lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Barclay tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Barclay on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Barclay is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brown.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.
Brown is looking to score with low kicks.

Barclay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barclay's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barclay scrambles back to his feet.
Brown on the wrong end of a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Barclay's head.
Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Barclay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Brown changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Brown on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Barclay.
Brown swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Barclay scores with a jab to the body.
Barclay chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barclay throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.

Brown drops Barclay with a beautiful combination! Barclay stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brown is looking for the KO!
Barclay is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Brown lands a nice looking kick to the body. Barclay takes a step back to recover.
Brown throws a body shot but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown drops Barclay with a naaaaasty hook - Barclay is in real trouble here! Brown dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
