Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tj Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy May! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tj Storm! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! May swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Storm makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. May gets tackled into the cage by Storm. Storm maintains the clinch. May breaks from the clinch.
Storm avoids a lazy jab quite easily. May fails in his attempt to clinch. Storm shoots for a takedown but May saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jimmy May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Storm moves into the clinch successfully.
Storm tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and May avoids it. May jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Storm walks away with a smile on his face. May gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. May tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Storm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Storm fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm shoots in for a takedown but May shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. As Storm looks to move away, May throws a big counter combo but Storm just gets out of the way. Jimmy May has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tj Storm. Storm pushes May up against the cage in a clinch. Storm tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Storm shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says May as he avoids it easily. Storm forces May back against the cage and clinches. Storm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Storm slips a jab and a cross from May.
Storm fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but May avoids it really well and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Storm tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A slapping leg kick lands for May.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm tries to clinch up but May circles away and keeps his distance. Storm darts in looking for a takedown but May gets double underhooks and turns Storm into the cage. May tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Storm paws at him with a jab and circles away. Storm shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and May counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. May tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. May manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Storm looks winded! May fails to land with a series of punches.
May throws a wild combination but nothing lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No joy there for May, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Horrible takedown attempt by Storm or perhaps it was just good defense by May, which made it look bad. May pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm forces May back against the cage and clinches. Storm is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. May is defending well for now. May has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. May fails to pull guard.

A slapping body kick lands there for May. Storm instigates a clinch. Storm is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Storm is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. May manages to break the clinch.
May stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and May wants it to stay on the feet. Storm shoots in for a takedown but May shows good takedown defense. Storm takes one on the chin but seems OK.
May thows a left - swing and a miss! May has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Storm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with May but May pushes him off and we're back to square one. May fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Storm has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy May dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Storm stuffs the takedown. Storm tries to counter with a clinch but May shakes him off and moves away. May throws a right and a left that both miss. Storm moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Storm moves into the clinch. Storm tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Storm content to slow the pace in the clinch.
May has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Storm uses from the top position. May wants to sweep here but Storm controlling him for the moment. May has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Storm off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. May throws a right and a left that Storm avoids nicely. May throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Storm. Jimmy May is winning the standup battle so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with May, pushing him back against the cage. May is pressed up against the cage. Storm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag May down to the mat. May avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Storm tries to clinch but May is having none of it. A combination from May does no damage. Storm fails with the takedown. Jimmy May has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tj Storm. Storm clinches. A head punch blocked on the inside by Storm. Storm goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
May pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. May throws a sloppy head kick and Storm moves out of range easily. May stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. May pulls out of a head kick attempt.
May fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Storm manages to avoid it. May throws a hook to the side of Storm's head but Storm sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nice sprawl there from May as Storm shoots in. Storm leaves May with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Storm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts May as he jumps to the side. May throws a sloppy head kick and Storm moves out of range easily. Storm has May up against the cage in a clinch.
May escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Storm closes the distance and clinches. Storm displaying some good clinch control by pressing May up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm keeps control of May as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Storm ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Storm no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Storm manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. May manages to get himself to full guard.
May is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Storm wants to control from the top but May keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. May wants to get back to his feet but Storm is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Storm is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. May is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Storm can do to turn this around? Storm makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Storm looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy May will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Storm gets in close and instigates a clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. May lands a damaging elbow. Tj Storm seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. May is trying to push Storm away but Storm has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Storm tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Storm darts in and clinches May up against the cage. May prevents a takedown attempt there.
May has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Storm is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Storm throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mays head. Storm tries to score a body lock takedown but May shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jimmy May is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. May closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tj Storm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jimmy May is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. May breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy May showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for May, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
