The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCoy manages to avoid it.
As Foley backs off McCoy throws a huge counter combo but Foley manages to avoid it all.
Foley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McCoy momentarily.
McCoy blocks a head kick by Foley.

McCoy looking to score a takedown here. Foley is defending well but McCoy drives through and ends up in Foley's guard.
McCoy won't allow Foley to sweep him here.
Foley is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've been hearing good reports from Foley's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCoy tries to land knees in the clinch but Foley avoids the damage to the body.

McCoy wants to take the fight to the mat but Foley manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
