Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pre Fontaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Tatli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Tatli is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pre Fontaine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Tatli! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fontaine misses with a takedown and Tatli counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tatli is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fontaine sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fontaine tries to close the distance and clinch but Tatli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tatli gets caught napping as Fontaine dives in and scores a takedown. Tatli manages to retain guard. Fontaine passes Tatli's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tatli trying to control from the bottom.
Fontaine stands up and beckons Tatli to join him on the feet. Fontaine fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tatli sprawls well initially but Fontaine persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fontaine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tatli does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nice strikes from Fontaine there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tatli is trying to stand up here but Fontaine is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tatli throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatli is controlling Fontaine's position as best he can from this difficult position. Tatli keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fontaine trying to control the pace. Fontaine prevents Tatli from standing back up.
Fontaine seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Fontaine is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tatli has managed to free his arm - good work. Fontaine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tatli does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tatli just misses with a punch to the body.
Fontaine wants to clinch. Fontaine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tatli is fending him off so far but Fontaine persists. Nope, Tatli circles away and we're back to standing. Fontaine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tatli paws at him with a jab and circles away. Despite the aggression on Tatli's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Fontaine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tatli tries to avoid it but Fontaine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tatli to the ground. Tatli escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pre Fontaine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tatli darts in and clinches Fontaine up against the cage. Fontaine is trying to drag Tatli to the mat but Tatli just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fontaine is breathing heavily. Come on Tatli - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Tatli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatli gets the takedown into side control. Fontaine sneaks out the side door and pushes Tatli away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Tatli lands a head kick!
It looks like Pre Fontaine has been cut. Tatli throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fontaine sees it coming and avoids it easily. Fontaine shoots in for a double leg but Tatli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fontaine on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tatli misses with a low kick. Tatli looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fontaine is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tatli. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fontaine is defended easily by Tatli.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fontaine shoots and misses and Tatli counters with a solid body kick. Fontaine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tatli.
Tatli shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fontaine is looking to get back to is feet but Tatli passes into side control.
Tatli advances to full mount. Tatli controlling the pace for now. Tatli manages to capitalize on a mistake by Fontaine to take his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Robert Tatli will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Pre Fontaine's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tatli closes the distance and clinches. Fontaine drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tatli pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tatli swings for the body but Fontaine moves out of range.
Tatli rushes Fontaine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tatli has Fontaine pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fontaine manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Fontaine looking to stall.
Tatli turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Fontaine throws Tatli to one side and escapes! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tatli misses with a series of wild punches.
Fontaine seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Fontaine shoots in but no luck this time. Fontaine shoots in but Tatli avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pre Fontaine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatli fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fontaine avoids it really well and circles away. Tatli just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFontaine. Pre Fontaine is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tatli drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tatli trying to control the position from guard on top but Fontaine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tatli controlling from the top position. Tatli wants to control from the top but Fontaine keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatli is stalling in the full guard. Tatli preventing the sweep. Tatli stands up from Fontaine's guard - Tatli perhaps looking for a knockout. Nice takedown defense from Tatli. No joy for Fontaine on that attempt. Tatli has managed to clinch.
Tatli misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fontaine is trying to drag Tatli to the mat but Tatli just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A bit of stalling here from Tatli.
Tatli gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fontaine.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tatli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tatli fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tatli has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tatli closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fontaine takes a knee to the side of the body. Tatli taking a breather. Tatli misses with a body punch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fontaine tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tatli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Robert Tatli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pre Fontaine's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Fontaine is aware though and is defending well. Tatli can't keep his opponent in guard - Fontaine advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fontaine is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fontaine not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tatli trying to control here.
Pre Fontaine overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fontaine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fontaine seems to be working for a kimura but Tatli defends the submission attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tatli is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fontaine's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fontaine's back! Tatli is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Fontaine is defending well though. Tatli let's go of the attempt for now. Tatli has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Fontaine! Can he survive? No! He's out! Tatli gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
