Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Goku Senpai !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Poi Lai!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senpai with a poor takedown
and Lai counters with a series of strikes. Senpai will be more careful next time no doubt.
Senpai is looking to clinch but Lai is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Senpai or perhaps it was just good defense by Lai, which made it look bad.
Senpai takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lai throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Senpai 's waist but Senpai gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lai off to one side.
Senpai fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lai tries a quick counter leg kick but Senpai is wise to it.
Senpai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lai counters with a right hand to the body.
Lai drives through and clinches with Senpai against the cage.
Senpai has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lai is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lai is on top in guard.
Senpai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Senpai controls Lai momentarily but Lai frees himself.
Lai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Senpai swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lai postures up in Senpai 's guard and throws a big left but Senpai blocks it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Senpai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lai shoots in looking for a takedown but Senpai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lai's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Senpai looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lai tries to counter with a clinch but Senpai shakes him off and moves away.

Poi Lai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
