The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harrah! Harrah keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dog goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Harrah is on top in guard.
Dog looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Harrah has gone for a leg lock! Dog slips out almost immediately though and dives into Harrah's guard. Harrah is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Harrah keeping full guard, as Dog tries to pass. Dog throwing strikes from guard but Harrah blocks nicely. Dog throwing strikes but missing.

Harrah keeping full guard, as Dog tries to pass. Dog drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dog jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Harrah wants to sweep here but Dog controlling him for the moment. Harrah controls Dog momentarily but Dog frees himself. Dog is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dog looking to pass the guard. Harrah bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dog's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Harrah off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Harrah closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Harrah lands in his opponent's guard. Dog tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dog looks gassed! Harrah is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Harrah trying to control the position from guard on top but Dog is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dog is trying to control the position but Harrah postures up. Harrah looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrah wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving. Harrah is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dog is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dog moves into the clinch. Dog has clasped his hands together around Harrah's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Dog tries to move to full mount but Harrah actually manages to regain half guard. Harrah is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dog pulls his head out easily. Dog is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are battling for position here. Harrah manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrah has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dog can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Harrah throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dog escapes and throws Harrah's legs to the side, diving into side control! Dog cracks Harrah with an elbow. That is naaassty. Harrah struggling a bit here. Harrah stops Dog from passing to mount. Dog working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Toby Harrah will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dog tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dog shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Harrah counters with a takedown into side control. Harrah thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dog struggling a bit here. Dog is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Harrah asserts his dominance and retains side control. Harrah has hold of Dog's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dog seems comfortable defending it but Harrah has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dog is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dog is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Harrah couldn't care less - he's delighted!
