Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Hoar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Kolzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Hoar does no damage. Hoar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kolzig's waist but Kolzig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hoar off to one side. Nice sprawl there from Kolzig as Hoar shoots in. Kolzig fails with the takedown. Hoar cracks Kolzig with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Hoar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kolzig counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kolzig. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Hoar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kolzig looking to sit in guard and control but Hoar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hoar tries to stand but Kolzig is controlling from the bottom. Hoar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolzig has his hands on Hoar's head, controlling the position. Hoar trying to control the position from guard on top but Kolzig is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kolzig looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hoar sitting in guard here, content to control. Kolzig manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hoar manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoar scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hoar shoots in looking for a takedown. Kolzig tries to sprawl out of it but Hoar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kolzig manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kolzig shoots in but Hoar avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hoar scores with a hook. Hoar tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kolzig counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hoar!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kolzig tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kolzig is working for a guillotine from mount but Hoar frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kolzig working for a guillotine from mount but Hoar is in no mood to give up. Kolzig looks gassed! Hoar is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kolzig can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hoar is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nils Kolzig dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A big right from Kolzig misses. Hoar looks to land a combination. Kolzig sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kolzig avoids the head kick by Hoar.
Hoar throws a right hand that Kolzig ducks under and follows up with a left that Kolzig also avoids with ease. Kolzig closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hoar to the mat! Hoar manages to get full guard. Kolzig seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kolzig trying to control but Hoar is working from the bottom. Kolzig wants to pass the guard but Hoar is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kolzig manages to get himself to full guard.
Hoar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kolzig on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hoar trying to control but Kolzig is working from the bottom. Kolzig is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kolzig looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kolzig manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hoar manages to get himself to full guard.
Hoar wants to control the position but Kolzig says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kolzig is controlling the pace.
Kolzig prevents Hoar from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoar is refusing to be controlled, as Kolzig sits in half guard. Kolzig perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kolzig wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hoar keeps working. Kolzig wants to pass the guard but Hoar is defending well. Kolzig is working for a submission of some sort.
Hoar is not content to let Kolzig control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hoar missing with a left hand there. Kolzig was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hoar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kolzig looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoar is fending him off so far but Kolzig persists. Nope, Hoar circles away and we're back to standing. Hoar throws a good cross that connects.
Kolzig fails with a takedown attempt. Hoar lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kolzig backs up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Hoar dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Hoar throws a series of strikes that have Kolzig backpedaling.

Hoar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kolzig stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hoar lands a with a good body shot. No joy there for Hoar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kolzig swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoar. Kolzig on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hoar fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kolzig shoots for a double leg takedown but Hoar sprawls well. He's pushed Kolzig's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolzig throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoar's waist but Hoar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kolzig off to one side. Kolzig uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoar.
Kolzig gets a takedown into half guard. Nils Kolzig has got the better of the ground game so far. Kolzig keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hoar is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoar is refusing to be controlled, as Kolzig sits in half guard. Kolzig scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kolzig passes to side control. Kolzig tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hoar tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Kolzig stalls from top position. Kolzig looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hoar manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolzig looking for submissions off his back. Kolzig tries to get to full guard but Hoar has control of the leg. Hoar wants to pass to mount but Kolzig is defending the position. Kolzig works his way to full guard. Good work.
And that's the end of the fight! Nils Kolzig comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kolzig has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
