Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyver Secen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stan Mckenzie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clyver Secen! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Bruno Hogan and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Secen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mckenzie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Secen is one step ahead there. Secen with a flurry of punches that miss. Mckenzie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mckenzie wants to stand and escape but Secen is having none of it. Secen stopping the sweep attempt from Mckenzie. Mckenzie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Secen manages to get himself to full guard.
Mckenzie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Secen pulls Mckenzie in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Secen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mckenzie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mckenzie postures up in Secen's guard and throws a big left but Secen blocks it. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Secen has eaten all the pies! Mckenzie stands up over Secen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckenzie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Secen throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Secen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mckenzie throwing strikes but missing. Secen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mckenzie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Secen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Secen not landing any meaningful shots this time. Secen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mckenzie tries to roll over but Secen keeps him under control. Secen seems to be working for a kimura but Mckenzie defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mckenzie regains full guard. Nicely done. Secen slips nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Secen in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Secen is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Secen decides to stand up. Secen dives in and scores a takedown into Mckenzie's guard. Mckenzie wants to sweep here but Secen controlling him for the moment. Mckenzie wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Secen manages to pass to side control.

Secen throws a big right hand that misses. Secen throws a big elbow that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Secen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Secen trying to control but Mckenzie is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Secen has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Secen pulls guard successfully.
Secen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mckenzie lands a couple of digs. Mckenzie throwing strikes from guard but Secen blocks nicely. Mckenzie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mckenzie throws an elbow that misses. Secen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mckenzie's guard. Nice move by Secen!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Secen throws a big right hand that misses. Secen stopping the sweep attempt from Mckenzie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckenzie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Secen has his hands clasped together around Mckenzie's back. He's all about the action. Mckenzie is thwarting Secen's attempts to control the position. Secen has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Mckenzie is on him like a limpet, forcing Secen back against the cage. Secen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mckenzie gets back to full guard.
Mckenzie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Secen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie looking for a sweep but Secen has passed into full mount! Oh no! Secen controlling from the full mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Mckenzie swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Secen content just to control the position here. Mckenzie keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Secen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Secen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Secen looking to finish with strikes here!
Mckenzie is trying to escape the mount.
Mckenzie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Mckenzie tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Secen has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Mckenzie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Secen tries to control but Mckenzie wriggling away. Secen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Secen thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Secen tries to control but Mckenzie wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clyver Secen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Secen throws a fast counter high kick but Mckenzie manages to duck under it in time. Secen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Secen wants it to stay on the feet. Secen scores with a leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Secen has his foot on Mckenzie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mckenzie works his way back into a safe position though. Secen is controlling Mckenzie's posture. Secen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mckenzie's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Secen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mckenzie is trying to stand up here but Secen is controlling him well. Secen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Mckenzie strikes from the bottom but Secen passes into mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Secen trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Mckenzie doesn't escape. Mckenzie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Secen's guard. Nice work there by Mckenzie.
Mckenzie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Secen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Secen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Secen moves into the clinch successfully.
Stan Mckenzie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clyver Secen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Secen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mckenzie regains guard immediately.
And that's the end of the fight! Clyver Secen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Secen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
