Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gio Orsini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emile Heskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We've been hearing reports that Orsini has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Heskey darts in looking for a takedown but Orsini gets double underhooks and turns Heskey into the ropes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Orsini counters with a right hand to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Orsini forces Heskey back against the ropes and clinches.

Heskey doesn't manage to clinch there - Orsini circles away.
It looked like Orsini was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Heskey.

Heskey gets control of Orsini's arms and successfully pulls guard. Heskey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heskey slips a jab and a cross from Orsini.

Orsini breaks the clinch.
Orsini throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Heskey stumbling backwards into the ropes! Heskey bounces back off the ropes towards Orsini, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Orsini lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Orsini celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
