Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, King Kong!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hensley gets a clinch.
Kong tries to pull guard but Hensley holds him up against the cage and eventually Kong drops back down to his feet.
Kong is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hensley pulls him back up using the underhooks.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Christopher Hensley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Kong.
Hensley tries to score a body lock takedown but Kong shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kong is defending well against a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kong fails with a takedown attempt.
Hensley seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Kong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hensley defends it nicely.
Kong tries to clinch up but Hensley circles away and keeps his distance.

Hensley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kong uses from the top position.
Kong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hensley is proving hard to escape from.

Hensley pushes a forearm under Kong's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kong is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
