Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran Mistry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominic Toretto! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toretto throws a leg kick but Mistry moved away. Toretto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fight moves into the clinch position. Toretto keeps control of Mistry as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mistry slowing the pace effectively. Toretto has Mistry pressed against the cage, preventing Mistry from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Toretto is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Toretto prevents Mistry from breaking the clinch. Toretto changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mistry fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mistry tries to clinch up but Toretto circles away and keeps his distance. Toretto dives in and grabs Mistry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mistry pushes down on Toretto's head and hops out. Toretto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mistry, pushing him back against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Toretto ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Toretto no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Toretto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Toretto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mistry is aware though and is defending well. Mistry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Toretto swivels though and keeps the full guard. As Toretto tries to get set, Mistry tries to push him back and clinch up but Toretto manages to avoid the attempt. Dominic Toretto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Toretto tries for a takedown but Mistry circles away easily and Mistry counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Toretto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mistry swivels and escapes. Toretto looks for a takedown but Mistry sprawls well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A combination from Mistry does no damage. Mistry takes a swing at Toretto's ribcage but misses. Toretto gets the takedown into side control. Toretto trying to control the position but Mistry is working away. The strikes coming from Toretto are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Mistry wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Mistry sneaks out the side door and pushes Toretto away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Mistry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Toretto can do to turn this around? Mistry moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Mistry tries to clinch but Toretto is having none of it. Mistry pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Toretto back to the cage. Mistry follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Toretto gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mistry. Kieran Mistry is winning the standup battle so far. Toretto is looking to clinch but Mistry is avoiding it.

Mistry tries to bum rush Toretto with a series of wild strikes but Toretto uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kieran Mistry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Toretto darts in looking for a takedown but Mistry gets double underhooks and turns Toretto into the cage. Mistry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mistry lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mistry scores with a nice strike. Mistry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mistry wants it to stay on the feet. Toretto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mistry's waist but Mistry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toretto off to one side. Mistry is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nice uppercut lands for Mistry. That snapped Toretto's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action! Toretto closes the distance and clinches up with Mistry, looking for a takedown. Toretto pushes Mistry against the cage but Mistry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Horrible takedown attempt by Toretto or perhaps it was just good defense by Mistry, which made it look bad. Toretto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mistry moves into the clinch. Toretto prevents a body shot from Mistry. A frustrated look appears on Mistry's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mistry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toretto closes the distance and clinches up with Mistry, looking for a takedown. Toretto pushes Mistry against the cage but Mistry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mistry looks to land a combination but Toretto avoids it well. Mistry connects with a body shot. Mistry slaps away a takedown attempt from Toretto, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mistry seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Dominic Toretto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mistry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Toretto on the side of the head. Mistry clinches with his opponent.
Toretto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Toretto is defended easily by Mistry.

Kieran Mistry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Toretto drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
And that's the end of the fight! Kieran Mistry showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mistry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
