The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pittman moves into range and clinches up with Gon.
Pittman pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gon passes into half guard.
Pittman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pittman pushes Gon off looking to stand but Gon dives back in and keeps control.
Gon trying to control from Pittman's half guard. Pittman has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Gon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pittman is keeping the position for now.
Gon keeps trying to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pittman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gon defends well.
Gon wants to pass the guard but Pittman is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pittman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gon wants to control from the top but Pittman keeps moving.
Gon pushes down on Pittman's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gon is trying for a kimura here. Pittman looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gon wins by kimura!
