Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Baumgartner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu: Vai Finaliza!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brandon Baumgartner!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Baumgartner to the ground. Gracie is now in Baumgartner's guard.
Baumgartner pushes Gracie off and scrambles back to his feet.
Baumgartner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Baumgartner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Baumgartner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ramon Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Baumgartner.
Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Baumgartner did well to prevent Gracie getting side control.

Baumgartner shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Baumgartner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie is looking to counter the offense by Baumgartner and move into the clinch.

Gracie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baumgartner manages to get himself to full guard.

Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Baumgartner can do to turn this around?
