Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryuu Wakahisa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gus Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer throws a lazy right hand but Wakahisa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Spencer misses with a straight left.
Spencer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wakahisa slips a straight right by Spencer.
Wakahisa tries to counter by clinching up but Spencer breaks away and moves out of range.

Spencer's corner calls for a 1-2. Spencer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Gus Spencer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wakahisa tries to get into range but Spencer steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Wakahisa! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Spencer scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gus Spencer!
Gus Spencer seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Ryuu Wakahisa was interviewed post fight and said 'Cortez you had me tonight with those punches!! Looking for a rematch soon!!'.
