The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson fails with a takedown attempt.
Loco wants to clinch up but Thompson keeps it at a distance.
Loco closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Thompson lands a nice elbow.
Loco lands a shoulder strike.
Loco goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Thompson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Thompson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Loco is one step ahead there.
Loco wants to stand but Thompson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Thompson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Loco tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Thompson manages to move to mount!

Thompson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Loco's face.

Loco is in a horrible position here. Thompson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Loco is bucking up trying to escape but Thompson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Thompson lands a heavy elbow.
Loco is rocked!
It looks like X Loco has been cut.
Loco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thompson lands a big elbow - Loco is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Loco is forced to tap out!
