Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eliseo Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galaz Mesha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eliseo Schultz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Galaz Mesha! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schultz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mesha shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schultz is trying to defend but Mesha finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Mesha takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mesha is thwarting Schultz's attempts to control the position. Mesha sitting and controlling from the half guard. It looks like Mesha might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mesha is continuing to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The adventures of Mesha the control monster continue. Boring. Mesha's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mesha looks to land a strike but Schultz avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Mesha engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mesha postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mesha throws an elbow that misses. Schultz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mesha's guard. Nice move by Schultz!
Schultz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mesha wriggles free and stands up. Mesha scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Schultz throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mesha has Schultz up against the cage in a clinch.
Schultz tries to pull guard but Mesha holds him up against the cage and eventually Schultz drops back down to his feet.

Mesha engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Schultz trying to keep a closed guard but Mesha is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mesha is stalling in the full guard. Mesha with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schultz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mesha. Mesha throws a big elbow that misses. Mesha postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mesha in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mesha should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mesha showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mesha moves into range and clinches up with Schultz. Schultz is trying to pull guard but Mesha has him pressed against the cage. Mesha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mesha pushes Schultz up against the cage in a clinch. Schultz letting Mesha take a breather here. Schultz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mesha to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eliseo Schultz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mesha is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Schultz can't fight it off and eventually Mesha manages to take the fight to the floor. Schultz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Schultz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mesha slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. More stalling from Mesha. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Galaz Mesha dominated that round. That's time! Schultz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mesha is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Schultz's half guard. Still in half guard, Mesha seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schultz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mesha is working away from the top position though. Schultz wants to get back to his feet.
Mesha has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mesha performing his best blanket impression for a moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Schultz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mesha throws a big elbow that misses. Galaz Mesha has got the better of the ground game so far. Mesha is looking to work some ground and pound but Schultz has wrist control. Mesha gets to his feet - Schultz follows without any prompting. Eliseo Schultz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schultz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mesha shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schultz is trying to defend but Mesha finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mesha content to control rather than advance. Let's hope that Mesha has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Mesha is taking a breather. Schultz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mesha shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Schultz napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mesha controls the position from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Schultz avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mesha. Mesha looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Schultz is avoiding damage well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Galaz Mesha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mesha closes the distance and pushes Schultz back into the cage. Schultz manages to break the clinch.

Mesha throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Mesha misses with the ground and pound. Mesha is staying tight to Schultz's torso, preventing him from escaping. Mesha postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mesha tries to score with some ground and pound. Schultz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The strikes coming from Mesha are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Schultz is being controlled here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mesha is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Schultz's half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mesha not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mesha keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mesha stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Mesha throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schultz was covering up waiting for the punch and Mesha finishes the takedown easily into guard. Galaz Mesha is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mesha is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Eliseo Schultz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Galaz Mesha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mesha winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
