Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meyer Lansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lansky comes to the cage accompanied by Rag’n’Bone Man - Wolves . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meyer Lansky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Duke Nukem!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nukem tests Lansky's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A clash of legs there as Lansky blocks the low kick.
Nukem throws a lazy uppercut

and Lansky holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lansky misses with a short punch on the inside.
A short right from Lansky on the inside.
Nukem tries to pull guard but Lansky forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Nukem swings wildly with an uppercut but Lansky uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lansky throws a head punch that misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
We've been informed that Nukem has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Lansky lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nukem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lansky lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Nukem breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lansky drops Nukem with a beautiful combination! Nukem stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lansky is looking for the KO!


It looks like Duke Nukem has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nukem tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lansky swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lansky takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Nukem counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Nukem scores with a nice right hand.

Lansky lands a big head kick that sends Nukem tumbling to the mat! Lansky takes a step backwards and waves Nukem back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nukem tries to clinch but Lansky is having none of it.
Lansky throws a sloppy head kick and Nukem moves out of range easily.
Nukem works Lansky's body with a nice hook.
Nukem cracks Lansky with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Meyer Lansky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nukem throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nukem keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Nukem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lansky has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nukem off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Nukem shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Lansky pushes Nukem off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Lansky walks into a straight right hand from Nukem.
Nukem misses with the combination.
Lansky was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Donk. Nukem catches Lansky right on the button with a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lansky takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Lansky misses with a wild body shot.
A combination from Lansky does no damage.
Nukem thumps Lansky with a low kick.
Duke Nukem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nukem tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lansky on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nukem. That's going to slow Lansky down.
Nukem throws a right and a left that Lansky avoids nicely.
Nukem bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

and Lansky makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nukem is looking to clinch.
Nukem shoots in looking for a takedown but Lansky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nukem's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Meyer Lansky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duke Nukem.

Nukem cracks Lansky with a good jab.

Nukem throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lansky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nukem throws a sloppy head kick and Lansky moves out of range easily.
Lansky jabs Nukem to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lansky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nukem can pounce on him.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nukem.
Lansky is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Nukem.
Nukem takes a swing at Lansky's ribcage but misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nukem lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lansky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lansky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lansky pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Nukem explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Nukem throws a head kick that misses
and Lansky counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nukem uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lansky.

and Nukem counters by clinching up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lansky can't find room to land a body shot as Nukem controls the action.

Nukem is trying to force a seperation but Lansky has the dominant position.
Nukem has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lansky avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

I would just about give that final round to Duke Nukem.
