Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Woodroffe!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb darts in and clinches Woodroffe up against the cage.
Cobb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Woodroffe walks away with a smile on his face. Cobb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cobb tries a head kick but it misses.
Woodroffe wants to counter the offense by Cobb and move into the clinch position.
Cobb rushes Woodroffe and presses him up against the cage.
Woodroffe looking for a takedown.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Woodroffe breaks from the clinch.
Woodroffe closes the distance and clinches.
Cobb is trying to pull guard but Woodroffe has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woodroffe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cobb.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Cobb. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Woodroffe throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Woodroffe lands a big head kick that sends Cobb tumbling to the mat! Woodroffe takes a step backwards and waves Cobb back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cobb is rocked!
It looks like Jeremy Cobb has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Woodroffe catches Cobb with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Cobb forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

In his post fight interview, Matt Woodroffe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
