Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denny Burch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Snow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Denny Burch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Snow! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow feints and as Burch raises his hands in defense, Snow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Snow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Snow looking to pass the guard. Snow wants to control from the top but Burch keeps moving. Burch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snow on the ground. Burch keeping full guard, as Snow tries to pass. Snow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Snow content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snow looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burch tries to land a sweep but no joy. Snow passes Burch's left leg - he's now in half guard. Snow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Burch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Burch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Snow gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Burch looks to land a combination but Snow avoids it well. Snow manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Burch on his heels. He'll look to pass Burch's guard now, I'm sure. Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but Burch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snow is standing up over Burch. Burch looks to escape but Snow dives into side control.
Snow landing strikes. Snow working the ground and pound from side control. Burch regains half guard, as Snow was trying to land strikes. Snow moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow has an Americana. Burch didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Snow is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Snow hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Snow! Our winner, John Snow, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
