Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Cotchin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trent Cotchin!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotchin throws a body punch but Allen moves out of range.
Cotchin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Allen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cotchin.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cotchin, as that shot connected.
Cotchin tries to land a leg kick but Allen saw it coming and moves away.
Cotchin scoring well with a low kick there.
Allen connects with a single shot there.
Allen throws a leg kick that is checked
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Cotchin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Allen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cotchin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cotchin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cotchin is looking to chop away at Allen's legs.
Cotchin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cotchin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Allen.
Allen jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Cotchin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cotchin thumps Allen with a low kick.
Barry Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cotchin misses with a body punch
and Allen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Allen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Cotchin counters with a single leg into guard. Allen didn't expect that.
Cotchin is looking to work some ground and pound but Allen has wrist control.
Cotchin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Cotchin wants to pass the guard but Allen is keeping the position.
Allen pulls Cotchin in close to prevent any damage.

Allen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cotchin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cotchin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Allen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cotchin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Allen down.

Allen takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Cotchin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Cotchin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Allen's head.

Cotchin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Allen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cotchin was well out of range. Poor timing from Allen.
Allen slips a straight right by Cotchin.
Allen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Allen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cotchin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Allen checks it well.
Allen is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Allen misses with an uppercut.
Cotchin chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Allen pushes Cotchin away with a front kick.
Cotchin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Allen.
Cotchin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cotchin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cotchin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Allen swings for the body but Cotchin moves out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Allen.
Cotchin throws a leg kick which misses Allen's front leg but catches the back leg as Allen tries to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cotchin keeps Allen at a distance using the push kick.

Cotchin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Allen thows a body kick. Cotchin tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Cotchin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Cotchin connects with a crisp jab.
Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Allen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cotchin can pounce on him.

Cotchin scores with a sloppy right hand. Allen should have avoided that one.

and Cotchin counters with a good, hard body kick but Allen shrugs it off.

Allen moves out of range of the leg kick from Cotchin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cotchin lands a body shot.
Allen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cotchin to score with a decent uppercut.
Allen misses with a body kick.
Cotchin cracks Allen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Cotchin connects with a leg kick. Allen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Allen scores with a jab to the head.
Allen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cotchin connects with a nice looking jab.
Allen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That kick from Cotchin tenderised Allen's leg. Allen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Cotchin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it.
Allen misses with an uppercut
and Cotchin counters with a nice uppercut.
Cotchin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cotchin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Allen throws a body kick that misses.
Cotchin scores with a nice strike.

Cotchin misses with the combination.
Allen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Allen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cotchin was well out of range. Poor timing from Allen.
Cotchin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cotchin getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Cotchin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cotchin lands with a hook. Allen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.


Allen is rocked!
Cotchin connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Allen out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trent Cotchin!
A relieved looking Trent Cotchin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
