Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Dotson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton has chosen Voices as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rolando Dotson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randall Orton! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orton doesn't manage to clinch there - Dotson circles away.
Orton rushes Dotson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Dotson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dotson is trying to pull guard but Orton has him pressed against the cage. Dotson trying to control the position but instead, Orton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dotson into the cage. Orton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Orton gets the takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dotson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Orton has just dragged him back down to the mat. Orton taking a breather here. Orton trying to control the action but Dotson is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dotson is trying to buck Orton off. Orton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dotson is looking to reverse the position. Orton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dotson keeps working. Dotson can't do much from the bottom here. Dotson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Orton stands up and beckons Dotson to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Orton instigates a clinch. Dotson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Orton is keeping busy. Orton tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Dotson fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rolando Dotson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Orton landing knees to the body.
Orton just leaning against Dotson, taking a breather. Orton gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Orton wants to control from the top but Dotson keeps moving. Dotson trying to control the position.
Orton trying to control but Dotson is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dotson is proving hard to escape from. Orton stands up and waves to Dotson to follow him. Orton closes the distance and clinches. Dotson jumps into guard, dragging Orton to the mat.
Orton trying to control but Dotson is working from the bottom. Dotson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dotson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Dotson wants to stand but Orton is controlling the position. Orton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Orton tries to free his leg and advance position but Dotson is retaining full guard. Orton wants to control from the top but Dotson keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dotson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Orton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randall Orton dominated that round. That's time! Dotson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Orton darts in and clinches Dotson up against the cage. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Orton. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Orton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dotson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The fight stays on the outside here - Orton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Orton has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dotson is looking to control Orton's arms but Orton gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dotson has his back to the cage. Dotson jumps guard.
Dotson wants to stand and escape but Orton is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dotson wants to stand up but Orton is controlling him. Orton drops back looking for a leg! Dotson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dotson manages to kick Orton off! Orton jumps back into Dotson's guard. Dotson kicks Orton off and gets to his feet. Orton gets a clinch. Orton lands a body punch. Dotson is trying to pull guard but Orton has him pressed against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dotson jumps guard but Orton turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Orton managing to block the knees to the body from Dotson.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Orton.
It looks like Rolando Dotson has been cut. Orton pulls guard successfully.
Dotson throws a big right hand that misses. Orton is trying to keep Dotson in close.
Orton trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Orton controls Dotson momentarily but Dotson frees himself. Orton throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Dotson postures up.
Dotson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dotson has managed to get both his arms back between Orton's legs - danger averted. Dotson stands and throws Orton's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orton tries to bench press Dotson off him but Dotson keeps the position. Orton keeps trying to improve his position. Orton wants to control but Dotson postures up. Dotson is trying to get an arm triangle but Orton is defending well. Dotson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Orton keeps working. Orton has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dotson is really struggling to control Orton but he's trying to hold on to the position. Dotson working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Orton is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Dotson is staying active. Orton tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Orton tries to reverse the position but Dotson maintains control. Dotson looking to control and managing it successfully. Orton reaches up to try and pull Dotson in and control his posture, but Dotson latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Orton taps out and this one is all over!
