Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Hercules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Smith!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Smith cracks Hercules with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Hercules Hercules has been cut.
Hercules misses with a right hand
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Hercules does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hercules loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Smith is looking for the big counter here.
Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hercules closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Smith cracks Hercules with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hercules is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Smith engages and cracks Hercules with a massive lead left hook - Hercules tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Smith is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Smith!
