Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Holohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temitope Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holohan comes into the arena with Come out and Fight blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Holohan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Temitope Obama!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holohan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Obama counters with a single leg into guard. Holohan didn't expect that.
We've been hearing good reports from Holohan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Obama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holohan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Holohan is looking for a triangle but Obama pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Oh Holohan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Obama tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Obama has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Obama has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Holohan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Obama yanks on the arm and Holohan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Obama.

Our winner, Temitope Obama, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Patrick Holohan was interviewed post fight and said '"A life making mistakes is not only more honourable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing at all."'.
