And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, John Machado!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nube digs a good body shot into Machado's ribs.
John Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body punch from Nube.
Machado misses with a takedown attempt
and Nube connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like John Machado has been cut.

Davy Nube has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Machado.
Machado dives in and grabs Nube's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nube pushes down on Machado's head and hops out.
A quick step to the side and Nube tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nube throws a combination. Machado tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nube smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That has opened up John Machado's cut even more.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Machado takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Nube lands a nice shot that snaps Machado's head back.
Nube throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Machado stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nube thuds a left hand into Machado's body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machado gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nube gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Machado is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davy Nube!
After the big win, Davy Nube made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Sun-Tzu and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
