Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Hit Run!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darko Vader!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Run uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vader.
Run staying out of range there.
Run misses with a takedown attempt
and Vader counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Run looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Run shoots in but Vader avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Vader lands a left and a right that send Run crashing to the mat, dazed. Vader thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Run is rocked!
Vader closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Run out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Darko Vader!
