The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Westlake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Westlake bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johnson connects with a looping right hand.
Westlake lands a jab to the nose.
Johnson misses with a shot to the body
and Westlake counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Westlake takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Johnson connects with a body shot.
Westlake lands a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson throws a body punch but Westlake moves out of range.
Westlake avoids the body shot from Johnson.
Westlake cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Westlake has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Johnson to stand back up!
Johnson is rocked!
Johnson glances at the clock... BAM! Westlake nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Johnson crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Johnson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cyril Westlake!
