Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barney Gumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davy Nube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nube comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Boom - P.O.D. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Barney Gumble could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Davy Nube's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Barney Gumble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davy Nube!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nube fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nube throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A clash of legs there as Gumble blocks the low kick.
Nube moves forwards but Gumble connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gumble wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Gumble misses its intended target.
Gumble loads up on a big right hand but Nube slips the punch.
Nube connects with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gumble scores with a hook.
Gumble feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nube sprawling to the canvas! Nube rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gumble finish him?!
Nube is rocked!
It looks like Davy Nube has been cut.
Gumble lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Nube head around and knocks him out cold! Gumble hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barney Gumble!
A relieved looking Barney Gumble thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
