Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Dickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickens has chosen I Want it All as his entrance music. Alexander Stubb has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Stubb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Dickens! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickens shoots for a takedown but Stubb saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dickens is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stubb sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dickens bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dickens in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Dickens working the head with strikes. Stubb can't do much from the bottom here. Dickens working the ground and pound from side control. Stubb is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dickens looks up at the clock and then as Stubb takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dickens smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Dickens throwing shots but missing, from side control. Stubb tries to bench press Dickens off him but Dickens keeps the position. Stubb takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dickens scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Stubb to see if he's OK. Stubb taking a bit of punishment here - Dickens scoring with strikes. Dickens lands an elbow. Dickens looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Stubb is avoiding damage well.
Dickens throws a strike aimed at the side of Stubb's head but Stubb avoids it well. Stubb takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stubb has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Stubb is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dickens connects with a decent elbow. Dickens throwing strikes but Stubb manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Dickens is letting Stubb control him for a moment. Dickens is not content to let Stubb control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dickens is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dickens holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Dickens struggling a bit here. Dickens is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Stubb is staying active. Dickens is looking to reverse the position. Stubb tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Dickens tries to buck Stubb off but Stubb is having none of it. Stubb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dickens keeps working. Dickens gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dickens is positioning himself well to prevent Stubb advancing to mount. Dickens tries to get to full guard but Stubb has control of the leg. Stubb not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dickens keeps trying to improve his position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Stubb lands a jab to the head.

Horrible takedown attempt by Dickens or perhaps it was just good defense by Stubb, which made it look bad. Alexander Stubb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That was a close round but I would say that Alexander Stubb will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dickens is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stubb pulls him back up using the underhooks. Stubb lands a body punch in the clinch. Still in the clinch, Stubb scores with a nice short uppercut. Dickens tries to score a body lock takedown but Stubb shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Dickens is breathing heavily. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stubb creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dickens changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stubb fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stubb dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The fight moves into the clinch position. Stubb lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short left from Stubb. Come on Stubb - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Stubb lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dickens backwards. Dickens looking for a takedown. Alexander Stubb has scored more points in the clinch so far. A quick uppercut on the inside from Stubb. Stubb digs a right hand into Dickens's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dickens's gas tank. A short right from Stubb on the inside. Stubb stops a takedown attempt from Dickens.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Alexander Stubb. Dickens misses with a takedown attempt - Stubb sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A cross from Stubb lands. Stubb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dickens can do to turn this around? Dickens has a takedown stuffed. Decent striking displayed by Stubb there. Stubb connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dickens momentarily.
Dickens is rocked! Stubb fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Dickens to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Dickens looks to clinch but Stubb throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Dickens taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
