The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sojak is trying to defend but Lawson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lawson lands a couple of good shots and Sojak has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Lawson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sojak with him. Sojak is trying to defend but Lawson has an arm under the chin now! Sojak grimaces and is forced to tap out!
