Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Myke Toifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Rogers! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers stuffs the takedown. Rogers feints and then cracks Toifer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Toifer down. Rogers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Toifer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rogers pulls his head out easily. Toifer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Toifer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rogers is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rogers lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toifer actively working from the bottom here. Toifer looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toifer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Toifer is breathing heavily. Toifer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rogers slips a nice elbow through Toifer's hands, connecting with Toifer's forehead. Rogers performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Toifer looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Toifer actively working from the bottom here. Rogers working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rogers decides to return to a standing position. Rogers lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Toifer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rogers swivels and escapes. Rogers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogers showed some decent athleticism there. Toifer is defending against the submission attempts here by Rogers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Toifer looking for submissions off his back. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Toifer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Toifer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Toifer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rogers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Toifer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Toifer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rogers pulls his head out easily. Still in half guard, Rogers seems content to control. Rogers lands with a punch from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Rogers dominated that round. That's time! Toifer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rogers looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Paul Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far. Toifer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Toifer. Toifer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rogers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toifer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rogers is working Toifer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Toifer swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Toifer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toifer is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rogers has his hands clasped together but Toifer extends and breaks Rogers's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Toifer.
