And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweeney takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Slinga scores with a kick to the body.
Sweeney cracks Slinga with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Gun Slinga has been cut.
Slinga misses with a body kick.
Sweeney misses the jab.
Slinga was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sweeney is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A slow jab from Slinga misses its intended target.
Nice straight punches there by Slinga. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Slinga.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sweeney.
We've been told by Slinga's head coaches at Humboldt Park Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Slinga bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Slinga checks a leg kick.
Slinga fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sweeney connects with a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slinga misses with a body kick.
Sweeney tries to score with a low kick but Slinga moves his leg out of the way.
Sweeney scores with a nice body kick.
Slinga takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Slinga fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sweeney feints the counter takedown.
Sweeney fakes the leg kick and cracks Slinga in the body.
A jab from Slinga misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sweeney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slinga takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sweeney walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Slinga checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sweeney drops Slinga with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sweeney follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Declan Sweeney! Declan Sweeney retains his super heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Declan Sweeney started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
