The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganador takes a swing at Barnes's ribcage but misses.
Ganador missing with a left hand there. Barnes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Barnes swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Barnes connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ganador swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ganador tries to clinch there but Barnes circles away.
It seemed like Barnes was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ganador lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barnes circles away quickly and effectively.
Ganador shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barnes pinned against the cage. Barnes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ganador scores with a one two! Barnes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barnes lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barnes cracks Ganador with a hook to the temple - Ganador is on wobbly legs here! Barnes swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Ganador falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Barnes wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Paul Barnes!
Paul Barnes gave a mention to HERITAGE! (message for laundry) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
