Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Redfield!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams scores with a jab to the head.
Williams slips a jab and a cross from Redfield.
Redfield misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Williams fires out a quick counter leg kick but Redfield just manages to avoid it.
Williams misses with a low kick.
Redfield keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Williams.
Redfield is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Williams with a body shot.
Williams lands with a kick to the ribs.
Redfield pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Williams wants to land a leg kick but Redfield is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Redfield, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A low kick from Williams is predictable there
enabling Redfield to counter with a crisp jab.
Redfield lands a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Williams moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Redfield with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A jab lands there for Williams.
Redfield stuns Williams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Redfield swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Williams looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Redfield.
Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams just misses with a punch to the body.

Williams looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Redfield looking to hit a scissor sweep but Williams is one step ahead there.

Williams scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Williams throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Williams stopping the sweep attempt from Redfield.
Redfield keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Redfield wants to stand but Williams is controlling the position.
Redfield seems keen to control Williams's posture.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Redfield wants to stand but Williams is controlling the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Redfield makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ash Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Redfield takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Williams takes one to the chin there.
A big right from Williams misses.
Redfield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Redfield steps into range and cracks Williams with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Williams flops backwards and Redfield dives into his guard looking to finish!


It looks like Ash Williams has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Redfield with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Redfield scoring with punches to the head and body.
Williams wants to sweep here but Redfield controlling him for the moment.
Williams trying to keep a closed guard but Redfield is proving a slippery customer.
Williams keeping moving, preventing Redfield from controlling successfully.
Redfield works over Williams with some ground and pound from guard.
Redfield wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Redfield being controlled here momentarily.
Redfield loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chris Redfield will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Williams ducks under a wild hook from Redfield.

Redfield wobbles Williams with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Redfield dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Williams to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chris Redfield!
Chris Redfield decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
