Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between St Petersburg Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Cuida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strangler comes to the cage accompanied by Let Me Through by The Dead Weather. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Cuida misses
and Strangler counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Strangler connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Strangler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cuida.
And Strangler counters with a quick kick to the body but Cuida blocks it.
Strangler defending well as Cuida loads up on a big left hand.
Strangler misses with a left hand
and Cuida cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Strangler misses with a looping right.
Cuida scores with a jab to the jaw.
Strangler slips under a jab.
Strangler throwing a counter right hand but Cuida manages to avoid it.
Strangler scores with a sloppy right hand. Cuida should have avoided that one.
Strangler drops Cuida with a straight right hand, right on the button! Strangler follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). St Petersburg Strangler!
