Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millard tries to clinch up but Husky circles away and keeps his distance.
Husky attempts a counter takedown but Millard avoids it well and moves away.
Millard needs to keep his hands up - Husky had a free shot at his head there.
Millard throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Millard clinches up with Husky and pushes him back against the cage.

Husky goes for a takedown attempt but Millard pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Millard tries to move into range but Husky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Husky keeps the fight on the outside.
Millard cracks Husky with a good jab.
Husky scores with a crisp jab that stopped Millard in his tracks.
Millard has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Millard misses with a short punch on the inside.
Millard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Millard lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Husky jumps into guard, dragging Millard to the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Millard connects with a nice short shot to Husky's temple.

Husky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Millard is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Millard cracks Husky with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Oh Husky is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Millard postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Husky badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Millard around the waist but Millard pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Millard is the winner by TKO! Millard jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Millard!
After winning the bout, Bruce Millard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
