The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ferreira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Doe is just riding it out for now. Ferreira eventually gives up the hold.
Ferreira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Doe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ferreira.
Doe pushes Ferreira off looking to stand but Ferreira dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ferreira eats them both and turns towards Doe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Ferreira tries to close the distance and clinch but Doe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ferreira shoots in looking for a takedown but Doe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ferreira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
