Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Mustang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustang has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustang misses with a low kick as Allen jumps back.
Allen keeps the fight on the outside.
Mustang gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Allen tries to free his leg and advance position but Mustang is retaining full guard.

Allen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mustang on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Allen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Allen showed some decent athleticism there.
Allen wants to pass to mount but Mustang is defending the position.

Mustang is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Allen scores with a couple of nice shots.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Allen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mustang can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Allen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mustang is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mustang keeps working.
Allen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mustang is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Allen is looking for a kimura but Mustang is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Allen to get the leverage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Allen avoids the head kick by Mustang.
Allen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Allen wants to control from the top but Mustang keeps moving.
Allen is sitting in close to Mustang's body. Mustang has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Allen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Allen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mustang.
