Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russell Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quach Minh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minh has chosen beautiful life as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose throws a nice looking combination but Minh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Minh moves into the clinch.

Rose turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rose manages to end up in side control.

Rose stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Rose drives through and clinches with Minh against the cage.

Minh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rose throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Rose wants to stand and escape but Minh is having none of it.
Minh is looking to work some ground and pound but Rose has wrist control.
Rose really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee asks Rose politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rose prefers to stall for the moment though.
Minh on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Rose creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Rose is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Minh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Minh shoots in looking for a takedown. Rose tries to sprawl out of it but Minh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rose throws a right hand that Minh ducks under and follows up with a left that Minh also avoids with ease.

Minh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Rose escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Minh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
