The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Caprillo counters with a right hand to the body.
Caprillo moves out of range of the strikes.

Gruber is trying hard to land a takedown here. Caprillo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gruber throws a low kick, looking for Caprillo's leg but Caprillo calmly moves out of range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caprillo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gruber doesn't defend quickly enough and Caprillo has managed to lock this one up! Can Gruber escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Caprillo on a fantastic submission victory.
