Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dirt McGirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Legend by Drake. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dirt McGirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christian Reyes! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGirt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Reyes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Reyes instigates a clinch. Reyes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. McGirt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stalling in the clinch from McGirt.
McGirt takes a shot to the head. Reyes jumps guard but McGirt turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. McGirt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Reyes working some nice short punches in the clinch. McGirt stalls. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGirt lands a damaging elbow. Reyes can't break the clinch.

Reyes is trying to pull guard but McGirt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Dirt McGirt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Reyes. A short left from McGirt. McGirt is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Reyes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Reyes jumps into guard, dragging McGirt to the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McGirt's corner is telling him to maintain position. McGirt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Reyes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McGirt passes into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McGirt throwing strikes but missing, from side control. McGirt stands up. Reyes shoots in for a takedown but McGirt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Reyes takes the fight into the clinch. Reyes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McGirt to keep the fight standing. McGirt is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McGirt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Reyes on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

McGirt lands an elbow that stopped Reyes in his tracks for a moment. McGirt using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Reyes has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Reyes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. McGirt with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGirt is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Reyes is defending well for now. Reyes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McGirt after a bit of a struggle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dirt McGirt dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McGirt tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Reyes avoids it. Reyes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Reyes is looking to control McGirt's arms but McGirt gets an underhook and turns him. Now Reyes has his back to the cage. Reyes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Reyes feints a jab promting McGirt to slip. Reyes then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McGirt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Reyes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGirt. McGirt darts in and clinches Reyes up against the cage.

Reyes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McGirt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McGirt has taken the fight to the clinch.
Reyes is trying to break free. Reyes prevents a body shot from McGirt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Dirt McGirt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Reyes misses with a punch to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Dirt McGirt showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGirt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
