The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace scores with a kick to the midsection.
Wallace is looking to clinch but Zabijak is avoiding it.

Zabijak missing with a left hand there. Wallace was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Wallace counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Zabijak shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wallace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zabijak pinned against the cage. Zabijak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Zabijak wants to counter the offense by Wallace and move into the clinch position.

Wallace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wallace shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zabijak is trying to defend but Wallace finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Zabijak is looking to cinch up a triangle. Wallace throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zabijak's body to avoid the submission. Zabijak has instead reached around Wallace's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zabijak arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
