Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jamal Lite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bas Rutten!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten looks for a takedown but Lite sprawls well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rutten looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rutten has a takedown stuffed.
Lite drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Rutten's face as Lite controls the position.
Rutten tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lite working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rutten sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lite lands with a punch from half guard.
Nice strikes from Lite there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lite seems to be looking for submissions.
Lite is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lite escapes and gets back to his feet.
Lite tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lite shoots in for a takedown but Rutten shows good takedown defense.
Rutten gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lite counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jamal Lite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bas Rutten.
Rutten had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lite is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rutten Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lite's back instead.
Rutten looks gassed!
I really don't envy Lite right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lite breaks Rutten's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Lite is stalling in the full guard.
Lite stands up and waves to Rutten to follow him.
Rutten with a poor takedown
and Lite counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rutten won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lite is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rutten is trying to escape and Lite transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rutten is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lite! Very nice indeed!
